Writing+COMMunications
Over the last decade as a journalist, I have written features and profiles about culture and lifestyle, from theatre, comedy, art and books to travel, food, health and more.
As well as journalism, I am a communications consultant and work with clients on high level strategic content planning and shorter term creative campaigns. My work also includes non-fiction book editing and research, assisting with first/second/tenth drafts, advising on style, structure and accessibility, copywriting for brands on website copy, blog posts and email marketing, press packs and PR launches for film & television, and newsletter ghost-writing.
I run an online magazine and newsletter about comedy, LMAOnaise, which was shortlisted for the Women in Journalism Georgina Henry prize for Digital Innovation at the British Journalism Awards, 2023, and won Best Entertainment and Culture Newsletter at the Media Voices Publisher Newsletter Awards in 2024. I also write Right!?, an arts and culture newsletter published on Substack.
